Breathing heals


Jusqu'à récemment je fumais jour et nuit. J'étais inversement proportionnellement peureuse et non sportive, habitée par un tas d'angoisses...brrr... Et un jour, j'ai arrêté. Un autre jour aussi, j'ai été faire de la méditation militaire sur la respiration, 10 heures par jour, 40°C à l'ombre, moustiques et interdiction de parler (même auxdits moustiques). Et maintenant, je suis de retour en France, quasiment rien n'a changé. En fait, si, j'ai quand même retenu quelque chose de tout ça: respirer, c'est délicieux.


Untill recently, I was a chimney. Oh yes, I was. And of course I was polluted by fear, anxiety, and I was wonderfully unable to move my body elsewhere than on gmail...brrr... And one day, I quit. And another day, I did some military meditation on breathing. 10 hours a day, 40°C, mosquitos, not a word allowed - not even to mosquitos. And today, I'm back in France, almost unchanged.  Except maybe for one thing that I know now for sure: breathing is a delight!

Alright folks, today's topic: health. What is it? After 3 years giving massages in Paris, I have to come out of the closet: massages are not the Graal to health. Yep sorry. Actually, some people are consuming massages the way they would consume anything - without paying attention, having the misconception that something branded "healthy" that they pay (and believe me, they pay :)) for should provide them with a certain quality of being. I actually heard of someone who got sued from one of her regular attendee because she had cancer. In a gesture of anger, and refusal, she preferred to sue her massage therapist in order to have someone to blame for it. That's unfortunate, not to mention pointless and wasteful.
